The L1824 Wood Lathe is HBW’s most versatile lathe, combining robust construction with innovative features to meet the needs of professional woodturners. Made from heavy cast iron and classically shaped legs, the L1824 delivers over 170kgs of stability during operation. The swivel headstock rotates 180 degrees for outboard turning, while three machined surfaces on the sides of the bed allow for extension mounting to tackle larger projects such as oversized bowls or spindle work.
